hello, world

i’ve been meaning to redo this site for a while. the old version was a free template from 2014 that i kept telling myself “i’ll rebuild it someday.” so, finally, it’s that day.

this place isn’t trying to be anything in particular. it’s not a brand, it’s not a funnel, and it’s not optimized for anything but my own attention. it’s where i’ll write down things i’m thinking about — usually code, sometimes not.

why it looks like this

i wanted something that felt like a dev notebook without trying too hard. mostly text, monospace where it matters, a couple of splashes of color because i thought they looked nice, and a warm paper-ish background because pure white is exhausting.

if it changes again next month, that’s fine.
